Cause of Bobbi Kristina death to stay secret

The cause of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death has been determined but a court order prevents it being publicly revealed.

Bobbi Kristina, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, died in a hospice on 26 July after months in a coma.

The 22-year-old had been found face-down and unconscious in a bathtub on 31 January at a townhouse she shared with Nick Gordon in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office said the results of the post-mortem will not be released because of the court order from Fulton County Superior Court.

In a press statement the medical examiner's office said: "The Fulton County Medical Examiner has classified the cause and manner of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death.

"However, a Fulton County Superior Court Order dated September 25, 2015 has been received Sealing the Autopsy Report and ordering the Medical Examiner to not release any further information to the public."

The Fulton County district attorney and Roswell Police Department have been told of the post-mortem results, however.

A police report earlier this year described the incident as a drowning.

In February 2012, Ms Brown's mother Houston died aged 48 from accidental drowning in a bathtub at a hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Authorities said years of cocaine abuse and heart disease played a key role in Houston's death.

Bobbi Kristina - referred to as Krissy by family members - was treated in hospital twice for anxiety after her mother passed away.
