A teenager has been jailed for 15 years after stabbing a rapper to death near Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

Taylor Fernandes-Nelson attacked 24-year-old victim Ryan Gray, stabbing him in the heart in north London.

Gray, who performed as a hip-hop artist under the stage name Reckz, was stabbed several times by Fernandes-Nelson, now aged 18, in broad daylight.

Passers by rushed to help, but after being taken to hospital by paramedics Gray died four days later.
After a trial, Fernandes-Nelson was found guilty of murder and today was sentenced to 15 years in jail.

Judge Anthony Bate told the court: "The fateful sequence of events unfolded quickly.

"As Ryan Gray arrived he was carrying two weapons, a plastic Persil bottle containing caustic ammonia solution and a metal cosh.

"You had brought to the scene a small folding knife concealed in a trouser pocket.

"You stabbed him to death.

"The jury rejected your claim that it was a sudden loss of control.

"His partner Pauline was pregnant at the time and their daughter will never know her father."
