Teacher, 25, who had sex with two teenage pupils is spared jail

A teacher has been spared jail after admitting having sex with two teenage pupils.

English teacher Kimberley Macemore, 25, had sex with two 17-year-old boys and also bought one alcohol and helped him cheat on a school test.

Her illicit affairs were reported to police after Macemore told another pupil about the relationships and he tipped off the school's headteacher.

The encounters took place between October 2013 and January 2014 before Macemore was arrested last May.

She was immediately suspended without pay from her role at a school in South Carolina, USA.
Wilkes Superior Court heard how the teacher had a brief affair with one of the boys but a much longer relationship with the other.

Macemore was given a suspended prison sentence after pleaded guilty to two counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor, assisting a student in obtaining a grade by fraudulent means and giving alcohol to someone under age 21.

The sentence of at least 12 months behind bars was suspended for three years and she was also ordered to register as a sex offender for the next 30 years.

Reported: A fellow pupil told the school's principal when Macemore spoke of her illicit affairs
