There are indications that President Muhammadu Buhari has retired at least 17 permanent secretaries from the federal civil service just hours before the inauguration of federal ministers.
The retirement is however yet to be made official but one of the affected permanent secretaries who confided in our reporter confirmed the retirement.
The permanent secretaries were informed of their retirement after they met with the president at the State House in Abuja.
The President had earlier received and met privately with former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
