Mum left 'looking like deflated balloon' after gastric surgery goes under knife again for body of her dreams

Figure: Ms Foreman had surgery to remove the saggy skin left after she went from 24st (inset) to 12 st (left)
A mum-of-two who was left looking like 'a deflated balloon' after losing 12st following a gastric wrap operation, went under the knife again to get the body of her dreams.

Melissa Foreaman, dropped from 24 stones to 12 stones leaving her with rolls of saggy skin.

Ms Foreman decided to have the surgery because she hated her body image.

But although she lost the weight, the 44-year-old, from Sidcup, London, was left with large amounts of excess skin around her body, the Daily Mail reports.

Diet: She became morbidly obese after eating at least 5,000 calories a day
She said: "My body looked like a deflated balloon.

"I was a fraud as my body in clothes didn't match what was underneath, I hated it."

Ms Foreman finally has the body of her dreams after having further surgery to have the excess skins removed.

She said she grew up a 'big child' in California, eating fast food and sweets, and that she had gone from a fat youngster to "a fatter teenager to a morbidly obese adult."

Ms Foreman said she would often skip breakfast and then have two Big Macs and large fries for lunch.

Change: Ms Foreman decided to have gastric surgery after having twins

She would then eat large amounts of fatty foods and snacks at home - "easily consuming 5,000 calories a day" - more than double the recommended daily intake for a woman.

Becoming a mum to twins aged 38 in 2009, she decided to tackle her 24-stone weight.

She travelled for surgery in the Czech Republic to have a gastric wrap fitted.

The procedure involves keyhole surgery to stitch the stomach wall to make it smaller.

This reduces the stomach's capacity for food.

Skin: She shed 12st, but was left with lots of saggy skin

Ms Foreman was left with saggy skins, and decided to undergo further surgery to remove the excess.
After a painful recovery, she now weighs 11st 5lb and is happy to show off her figure, the Mail reports.

She said the results of the surgery to remove her excess skin was "unbelievable."

Ms Foreman said she was happy with "the butterfly" she has become.
