Kim Sow sat down with hosts Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden where she revealed she was "the happiest woman in the world" after meeting a handsome Senegalese musician.
The pair met in a nightclub in London while 49-year-old Kim was scouting for a new music project.
They instantly hit it off and Laye explained he had been left widowed with three children.
Kim said: "I was so happy. One of the attractions for me was I couldn't have children. I was thrilled to be marrying a man who had three children. They were the apple of my eye. I even bought a house in Dover so we could all as a family move in together.
"I was the happiest woman in the world thinking I had a family, and it all came crashing down."
Kim explained: "I had only uncovered the surface. Through the power of Facebook I was able to find out he had four or five wives since 2002.
"He was married to an African woman who did die and then he married a Dutch woman. He married a couple of months after an African woman, who had two children. Then it's possible he married an English woman, and then he married me.
Host Phillip Schofield explained these were only allegations being made against the man and he had not been charged with anything.
