The Ekiti State Chief Judge, Justice Ayodeji Daramola, has
been directed to set up a seven-member panel to investigate allegations
of constitutional breaches by the state governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose.
The directives was contained in the resolution passed at plenary by
the 19 lawmakers of the All Progressives Congress of the House of
Assembly.
According to the factional Majority Leader of the House, Churchill
Adedipe, the lawmakers held the sitting in a public building in Ado
Ekiti, the state capital due to the security issues at the State
Assembly complex.
It had earlier been reported that the sitting took place in one Mary
Hill High School in Ado Ekiti, but the Principal of the school, Bolanle
Fasuan, told Channels Television that nothing of such took place there.
