Carol Bulut fired off a threatening text to her partner after becoming consumed with rage.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court was told how the 56-year-old had been with the man, who was not named, for 23 years and they had four children together.
However, she saw red after her son, by another man, called her one day and told her the man had been having sex with his girlfriend – who was also a prostitute.
According to the Evening Express, defence lawyer Alex Burn told how the situation arose.
He said: “Her son received a phone call from his partner, who is a prostitute.
“The girlfriend says ‘I have just got £100 from a punter’ and that she is having a Chinese.”
Bulut’s son then realised the phone he was being contacted with by his girlfriend belonged to his stepfather and immediately called his mother to tell her.
Mr Burn told the court how Bulut’s son told her: “He is having sex with my bird.”
The court then heard how, at this point, Bulut texted her partner, issuing the threat to smash his windows.
Bulut avoided having to pay a fine and was instead admonished for the incident in court.
Speaking after her court appearance, an emotional Bulut told the paper said she was glad it was over and said what happened had a “detrimental effect on the family"
