Four-week-old baby fighting for life after horrific fall as 'mum had blazing row'

Doctors are fight to save the month-old tot's life after he suffered "serious" injurie.

(Daily Mirror) - A four-week-old baby is fighting for his life after he fell to the floor as his parents allegedly had a blazing row in the street.

The tragic tot was raced to hospital this morning suffering serious injuries after he hit the pavement and suffered serious injuries.

Medics are currently battling to save the month-old baby’s life after he was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital following the incident at around 11.30am this morning in Sleaford Grove, Hall Green.

The child, who has not been named, is said to be in a “serious” condition and a 25-year-old man has been arrested.


It is not known if the arrested man is related to the baby.

A neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: "I heard lots of screaming and shouting and rushed outside.

"There was an argument outside the home between the baby's mother and a man.

"A little baby boy was lying lifeless on the floor. I am in shock at the moment.

"He was a tiny four week old boy and I just hope he will be ok."

Another man, who called himself Andy, added: "I don't know what the argument was about but I understand they were the baby's parents.

"It's a terrible thing to have happened. You just have to pray the little one's going to be all right."
