Shocking moment witch doctor forces two-day old baby to 'walk' in effort to cure high temperature

This disturbing video shows the moment a baby boy was forced to 'walk’ by a witch doctor.

The two-day-old baby was taken to the woman by his parents who were worried about his high temperature.

The tot was then stripped naked before he was forced to ‘walk’ by the witch doctor in Assam, India.


She can be seen holding the boy by the back of his neck as he struggles to stand upright .

A large crowd of onlookers can be seen watching as the baby cries out.

As reported by Mail Online, Rakesh Kumar, an official in Morigaon, India, said: 'He was suffering from fever, but now the baby is healthy.

"We must overhaul our post natal care system and have directed officials to launch a vigorous campaign."

It is believed two women have been arrested following the incident.

The baby is now recovering in hospital.
