Gaga and the legendary singer, 88, were billed to perform songs from their Grammy Award-winning duet album 'Cheek to Cheek'.Monday's event was held in aid of WellChild - a UK based charity of which Harry is a patron - which aims to provide support for ill children and their families.
WellChild's chief executive Colin Dyer is thrilled at the amount of support the charity have received from the stars.
He said in a statement: "WellChild is thrilled that Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are supporting WellChild through this concert.
"The proceeds will be a massive boost to our work to support seriously ill children and their families across the UK."
Following the short notice announcement, a message from Tony was tweeted from his official account.
"Sorry to not be singing in London tonight. I love my fans in the UK and appreciate all the well wishes to get over this flu quickly," he wrote.
Live Nation has confirmed that the performance previously scheduled for this evening at the Royal Albert Hall is not taking place.
Unfortunately, Tony Bennett has come down with a flu virus which has prevented him from performing the second of two sold-out performances in London.
Ticket holders are instructed to retain their tickets to this event pending more information. Fans who have purchased tickets online will be notified via the ticket outlets as soon as additional information is available.
Lady Gaga is yet to publicly release a statement regarding the cancellation.
