The Iyaloja (woman market leader) of Ijebuland, Mrs Saidat Elewuju,
was on Wednesday murdered in her home by yet-to-be-identified
suspected assassins.
The hoodlums reportedly inflicted several machete cuts on her until she died.
Markets in Ijebu Ode and its environs have been closed as tension remains high.
