• Manchester United are moving closer to acquiring the services of Barcelona winger Pedro and are ready to pay the £22m release clause which would take their summer spending past the £100m mark.
• Manchester City have suffered a huge blow in their pursuit of Kevin De Bruyne with Wolfsburg insisting: "We don't need your £50m." The Belgian winger is contracted to the German club until 2019 after joining for £18m from Chelsea.
