LVG: Swansea changes beat us

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was disappointed his side couldn't cope with Swansea's tactical changes in their 2-1 defeat.

Juan Mata put the visitors in front at the Liberty Stadium, but the hosts changed their shape and soon turned things around with two quick goals from Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis.

Van Gaal's men couldn't give him a victory on his 50th competitive match in charge of the club, and the United boss was disappointed they lost their impetus so quickly.

"We were probably too dominant that we had the sense to do that."

United have now scored just three times in their first four Premier League fixtures, but Van Gaal is confident his side will start finding the net more regularly.

"You see the game today, we could have scored much more. I don't think that's the problem," he added.

"When you create chances, that's the biggest issue, and you also need a little bit of luck.

"When the opponent scores goals you can always find errors. I have to analyse that with my players.

"But we have to score more and you can't concede goals."
