The governorship election petition tribunal in Abia State has upheld the election of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as governor of Abia State.
The tribunal threw out the petition challenging his election brought by Dr Alex Otti, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the April 11 election, saying it lacked merit.
