Few weeks after some hoodlums kidnapped a Nollywood actor named Prince Eke while on his way from a movie set, another Nollywood veteran, Harry Anyanwu, has been attacked in Enugu State after leaving a movie set last Friday.
Anyanwu, who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital, revealed via his Instagram page that few minute after leaving a movie set, he was attacked by hoodlums who barricaded the road, adding that the gang used an axe on his right leg.
Posting a picture which reflects his present state, he wrote; “To all my noble fans, this is d reason 4 my sudden absence 4rm IG. I was brutally attacked last week Friday (11 Dec. 2015) by some unscrupulous young men right here in Enugu (my own 042). To God b d glory I was lucky to survive d heinous onslaught, cos they chapped my right leg with an axe. Thanks to ur endless prayers & unprecedented support I am still alive today. One love Naija.”
