Jose Mourinho has begun his first official day as Manchester United manager as he sets about trying to return the club to the top of English football.
Mourinho arrived at Manchester Piccadilly station shortly after midnight on Monday morning ahead of his first day at Old Trafford, where he will plot to improve the club's fifth-place Premier League finish last season.
He announced his arrival on Instagram, accompanying the short of video of him alighting the train with the message "I am here/UNITED we can."
The former Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss, who was sacked by Chelsea in December, will take his first news conference on Tuesday -which you can watch on Sky Sports News HQ - after being appointed successor to Louis van Gaal in May.
He has begun work in the transfer market, already adding Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to his squad while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to join from Borussia Dortmund.
United are also currently in transfer talks to sign Mexican winger Hirving Lozano, according to the Mexico winger's club Pachuca, although Mourinho will be without Ryan Giggs, who left last week after 29 years at the club to pursue his managerial career.
There are likely to be more departures too, with Juan Mata's future undecided having been sold by Mourinho to United while at Chelsea in January 2014.
Mkhitaryan appears likely to join prior to Mourinho's first match in charge, in Shanghai against the Armenian's current employers Dortmund on July 22, while the first contest between Pep Guardiola's Manchester City and Mourinho's United takes place in Beijing on July 25.
