The field-testing of the smart card readers, according to INEC, will hold in two hundred and twenty five (225) polling units and three hundred fifty eight (358) voting points across 12 registration areas, otherwise known as wards in 12 states of the federation.
The states and the regions include South West states of Lagos and Ekiti.
For the South-South, Delta and Rivers States. Anambra and Ebonyi for the South East while the North West region has Kebbi and Kano states.
Nassarawa and Niger states will host the exercise in the North Central and North East will have Bauchi and Taraba states.
