Man to trek from Taraba to Bayelsa for Jonathan

Call it a season of trekking, and you will not be wrong!

Since Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in the last Presidential election, it has become fashionable for people to either trek or ride bicycle from distant places to Abuja to congratulate him.

At least, three people are known to have embarked on such a long and labourious journey since the dawn of this still emerging democratic dispensation, to greet the Political Gladiator-in-Chief, Buhari.

Now, another walker has just joined the #Trekkers’ Club. This time, it is not to greet the President-elect, Buhari.

The new trekker, 35-year-old Paul Jamasuru Tankwa, will be walking from Taraba State to Bayelsa, to greet President Goodluck Jonathan instead.

Tankwa has announced that he will be trekking from Taraba to Bayelsa State to congratulate Jonathan for conceding victory after losing the presidential election.

Paul has also designed an award, which he intends to present to Jonathan when he meets with him in Bayelsa.
