The students of University Of Ibadan will not allow movement in and around the University area (Agbowo, Ibadan) after a 200Level 1st class student in Faculty of Education died in one of the institution's clinic (Jaja).
From what I was able to gather from few of the students; The deceased (Mayowa) suddenly went down in a viewing center during the UCL match that took place between FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich last night and was immediately rushed to Jaja clinic, but on getting there, the staff demanded for his ID card to be provided by some of his friends that rushed him there.
These friends were unable to provide Mayowa's ID card and pleaded that he should be attended to but the staff decided against attending to him since its a tradition to see patients' id before before attending to them.
Mayowa gave up the ghost during this session.
Mayowa was on a 6.3 CGPA and a resident of the Independent Hall.
