A 21-year-old man has been found dead in Demi Moore's swimming pool at her Los Angeles home after he accidentally drowned.
Lt. Fred Corral says the man was found dead at 5:30 am local time on Sunday.
Los Angeles police responded to the home in west Los Angeles after a 911 call.
Sgt.
A. Bone says the actress was not home at the time, and the man is not a
family member but knew someone with access to the pool.
His identity hasn’t been released.
Sergeant A. Bone said five people were at the home at the time of the drowning.
One of those present was an assistant to Demi, he added.
The officer added he did not know if the actress was aware of the gathering at the house.
Los Angeles police confirmed no one from Demi's family was present when the body was found.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that a man who could not swim died in the star's pool after he slipped and fell.
Sources
also told the gossip website there was a party at the house that night
but Demi wasn't there at the time of the incident as she is not in town,
and none of the actress' family were present either.
The
sources also claimed that an assistant of Demi's or her children's
invited the man to the event, where there was "a limited amount" of
alcohol.
The man was discovered on Sunday morning at her Los Angeles home and there is not thought to have been any "foul play" involved.
Demi
has kids, Rumer Willis, 26, Scout Willis, 23 - who turns 24 tomorrow -
and 21-year-old Tallulah Willis, with ex-husband, fellow Hollywood star
Bruce Willis, 60.
One of Demi's neighbours has claimed to TMZ
that Demi's children have been throwing "parties every day, day and
night" at the house for weeks.
