Celebrity Big Brother star Bobby Davro slept with the wife of his wheelchair-bound best friend, her devastated husband has claimed.
TV
magician Wayne Dobson says the comedian betrayed their 30-year showbiz
friendship by “pursuing” attractive 55-year-old Marianne behind his
back.
Speaking for the first time of his heartbreak, the multiple
sclerosis sufferer alleges Davro even had sex with her in their kitchen
while he was ill in bed.
And he claims how the comic – who
entered the CBB house on Friday – spent a night with Marianne at his
home before showing up at Wayne’s flat to return her diamond earrings.
Wayne,
paralysed from the neck down, also claims that when he plucked up the
courage to confront Davro with his accusations in a tense showdown,
saying “the cat’s out of the bag”, the comic simply told him: “Why don’t
you let your wife have some fun?”
The magician is now locked in a bitter divorce battle with Marianne following revelations last year that she exposed her breasts to Davro in a drunken Skype conversation.
But
Wayne, 58 – whose 1990s TV show A Kind Of Magic pulled in millions of
viewers – says it is the loss of his best friend that has hit him
hardest.
“I trusted him and my wife and they let me down,” he says.
“I blame Bobby for being weak, myself for having a disease that means I’m in this wheelchair and my wife for hurting me.
“I am really disappointed that Bobby gave up our 30-year friendship for a bit of skirt. We will never be friends again.”
Both Davro, 56, and Marianne have strongly denied Wayne’s claims that they slept together.
