‪When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Sulaimon Adebiyi, said nothing was found on the bodies of the dead student to identify them as students of the school.

“I am here because I received a call just as many of us did that there is a student of ours (that was the language the person used) lying lifeless on the road; and the spontaneous reaction is to confirm if two students killed in cult clash report was true or not,” Mr. Adebiyi said.‬

‪“We ordered the immediate search of the bag on them, pocket and other areas where we felt that records can be … there was nothing, I repeat for emphasis sake, there was nothing indicating him being our student.‬

‪“This is second semester 2014/2015 and our students are undergoing examinations as we speak and there is no way a student will go into an examination hall without elements of identification.”‬
